Public Health and Wellbeing
Across Public Health, Mental Health, and Wellbeing at Wrexham University, we seek to work with stakeholders and communities on issues that ’matter’, such as our recent work with the Civic Mission social prescribing project and Green Infrastructure evaluation. We’re keen to teach and research best practice across a spectrum of health, mental health, and wellbeing issues.
The team work with a variety of populations to help tackle ‘wicked’ public health, mental health and wellbeing issues, promote strategies for achieving and maintaining optimum physical and mental health, while addressing the entrenched health inequalities found across North Wales and the UK.
