I've had some personal experiences that influenced the decision to educate myself, and give something back in response to the amazing help I had received from professional bodies during that tough time. Also, I have 2 young children who at the time were 2 and 3. I was conscious that time was drawing closer and both children would soon be in full-time education, and I essentially wanted to provide a better future for them.

The atmosphere around campus is comfortable and relaxed.

Everything! It is a very well run department and interesting course.

The support has been amazing. As a mature student, I have not been in education for many years, and foremost at an academic level. There is extensive help with assignments to perform at the level required for your degree. 

I have become much more confident in my life in every way. I feel that there is nothing you cannot achieve if you are passionate enough. I am now achieving at a level I thought I was not capable of and have become empowered as a result.
