I started studying Psychology in Poland. However, I quickly realised that this course was not for me. Before the end of my first year, I left university and Poland, and came to the UK to study at Wrexham University.

The accessibility and reviews from students about the teaching methods was a big factor in deciding to come here. I like the fact that students are known by their name and they are not just a number. 

On many occasions tutors would give me some of their time to advise or guide me if there was something that I struggled with, or I did not know where to go with a specific issue. 

Apart from gaining knowledge, which is the principle of studying, I have met some great people and created a network of contacts which I am sure will benefit me in the future. 

Yes, I would recommend undertaking a course. From my experience, I can say that all the staff is very nice, helpful, and very good at conveying the information.

I am proud of myself that I have been awarded the Neuberger prize as for me this is the biggest award so far. I believe that You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream and this is the reason why my age or my busy life did not stop me from continuing to make my dream come true.
