What you will study

The course offers an in-depth examination of the four major systems: the cardiac, respiratory, abdominal, and neurological. It includes both theoretical and practical components of clinical examination, as well as diagnostic procedures relevant to each system.

Students will practice and enhance their clinical examination skills in the safe environment of the health simulation suite, gaining confidence and competence using simulation equipment, manikins, and various learning technologies. This hands-on experience will be applied in the students' clinical practice settings.

The course will begin by addressing evidence-based practice, highlighting the importance of searching for the best available evidence and applying it in clinical environments. This foundational knowledge will support students in their decision-making and diagnostic processes when assessing and managing patients in clinical practice.
