A £1000 cash award, and 25% off Wrexham University accommodation for those who are the first in their family to go to University. This award and discount is for the first year of study only. There are a maximum of 10 scholarships available. Awards will be made based on expressions of interest sent to admissions@wrexham.ac.uk after an applicant firmly accepts Wrexham University’s offer to study. Applies to first year only. |
Applicants must indicate on their application (UCAS or Direct) if they are the first in their family to attend University. This is done via the answer to the question 'Do you or any of your parents, step-parents or guardians have any Higher Education qualifications, such as a Degree, Diploma or Certificate of Higher Education?'.
Applicants who answer 'no' to this question should then submit the expression of interest form via this link.

| Welsh Domiciled Part Time scholarship | Part-time | UG | £1,875 | Top up for welsh domiciled students who apply for £2,625 SLC loan and the £1,875 gap to tuition fee credited by Wrexham University.
