North Wales Wonders – People & their stories
North Wales is a beautiful and diverse region filled with wonderful people to meet, places to visit and opportunities for young people to get involved.
Part of the aim of the North Wales Children’s University is to raise aspirations. That means, we want to showcase to young people, their families and friends, all of the different opportunities there are, right here in North Wales.
We have collected stories from interesting people from North Wales. They may have been born here, work here or live in the area but they have all been on a journey, many with ups and downs and barriers to overcome.
All of the people below, have an interesting or unique career, hobby or business and we hope that by reading their stories, you will be inspired to think about your future career, hobby or business.
So whether you are 8 or 80, we think that these stories will inspire you.
