Activities
Here are some activities to complete at home or in your community.
Like watching movies or going to the theatre?
Primary school aged children* can create reviews on Films or a Theatre show using the form - https://bit.ly/3rWOhVP
To earn 1 hour for your passport, you will need to watch a film (either at the cinema or at home) or a theatre show and then either write up a review of it or make a video of yourself giving the review. 10 reviews can be completed in one year. More details can be found on the form.
*Secondary school children can complete reviews directly on their online dashboard.

Courses from Open Learn
North Wales and Cardiff Children’s Universities are proud to be working in partnership with The Open University in Wales and the OU’s OpenLearn platform. OpenLearn allows Children’s University members from age 13 upwards, to enrol on and be rewarded for completing, hundreds of free online courses.
Once an account has been set up on OpenLearn, CU members can choose to learn online at their own pace with courses on a range of subject form space and astronomy to languages and music.
Once the course is completed, CU members will need to download their statement of completion along with the duration of the course and email it to their Children’s University.
In North Wales, they can email childrens.university@glyndwr.ac.uk. We will then reply with the stamp code that matches the hours of learning that has been completed.
