STUDENTS

When living off campus, it's important to choose properties which are safe, secure and well managed.

Wrexham University’s Residential and Campus Life team maintain an online web register called Student Pad, where you can search for suitable properties to rent in and around the Wrexham area.

 SEARCH FOR STUDENT PROPERTIES

To improve our service to students, only landlords who have been accredited with Rent Smart Wales will be listed through Student Pad. Rent Smart Wales assists those who let or manage rental properties in Wales to comply with their Housing (Wales) Act 2014 obligations and provides advice on renting out safe and healthy homes.

The Residential and Campus Life team is always available to offer advice and guidance to students who decide to live in private accommodation, but it is important to remember that when students rent a property, the tenancy contract is between the student and the landlord. Therefore, students should seek to resolve issues directly with their landlord or the council.

To assist with accommodation further afield, please see Transport for Wales Network Railway Map . The campus is closest to Wrexham General station (station at the bottom of the purple line) so you can see what other areas might be viable for accommodation.

  • WHAT IS STUDENTPAD

Student Pad is the number one platform for student accommodation, and have been helping students find their perfect pad for over 23 years.

They provide a comprehensive and constantly updated database of both private and University accommodation for students. This is so students can benefit from being able to make an informed choice with easy to understand, helpful and practical advice.

In doing so they also offer student agent/landlord throughout the UK an opportunity to advertise and sell their properties to the hundreds of thousands of students visiting our site each year. It provides agents/landlords with a free and powerful online property management tool which has been developed over the past 10 years.

Studentpad welcome any feedback that you may have about the service or any of the properties listed on our Studentpad websites.

Comments can be sent to feedback@studentpad.co.uk
